regular registration rate of $28 applies. Online registration will close Friday,

Course Directions & Info:

Start: Hiram/
Silver Comet Trailhead. (Behind the Home Depot)
·
Travel west
towards Rockmart on the Silver Comet Trail. (When your back is to Hwy 278 go right)

Go out 4.7
miles and turn around at Paulding Chamber of Commerce sign.
The exact turn around point will be marked with an orange cone the day of
the event.
*Rider launch times:
Earlier registered = later start time.
Please train, practice, and ride the course
often as possible, prior to the Time Trial.
*Alternate inclement weather date will
be the following Saturday (Feb 23, 2008).
*Promoter reserves the right to cancel
the event due to possible weather conditions. |
Directions to Start
From Atlanta:
o
I-285 -exit 15 SR-280, South Cobb Drive.
o
Exit I-285 South turn right onto South Cobb Drive - - - *Exit I-285 North turn left
onto S. Cobb Dr.
o
Continue Straight on S. Cobb Dr. 1.4
miles
o
Turn left onto East-West connector (Traffic light and Publix store) 8.4 miles
o
Turn left onto Powder Springs Rd (Traffic Light, Waffle house, and Bank of America)
2.3 miles
o
*Powder Springs Rd. becomes Richard D. Sailors PKWY. 1.8 miles
o
Turn right onto James Highway/278/SR-6 (Traffic Light) 3. 2 miles
o
Turn Left onto Seaboard Ave (*No street sign, Sonny’s, RaceTrac, First Union Bank,
Home Depot) 0.1 miles
o
Start is 0.6 miles ahead on right on Sea Board Ave.
From Marietta:
o
Take Powder Springs Street / Road (off of the 120 loop by the cemetery, just south
of the square) south for approx. 13 miles.
o
Turn right onto Highway 278. Follow
